At Rite of Passage Funerals, we’re all about choice and authenticity. This means tailoring our services so that you can choose what you need, and what you don’t. Our cremation services start at $2,750, which includes transportation of your person, a complimentary cardboard cremation casket, dignified mortuary care, doctor’s certificates and filing of all death-related paperwork.

From there, if you want to add-on a bespoke funeral or memorial service, you can.

What’s included

Transportation & mortuary care

We arrange collection of your person from their place of death and bring them into the care of our trusted (and excellent) mortuary partners on the Gold Coast. From there, we wash and dress your person, encasket them, and also arrange transportation to the crematorium.

Eco-Cardboard Cremation Casket

The $2,750 Essentials package includes a complimentary cardboard cremation casket. If you want to upgrade your casket, you absolutely can.

All necessary paperwork

Cause of Death Certificate, Life Extinct Form, Official Death Certificate…. these are just a few of the required forms needed when a death takes place in Queensland. We take care of them all on your behalf.

CREMATION Packages

Essentials CREMATION, $2750 inc gst

All the essentials you need for a ‘no service, no attendance’ cremation. This includes transportation from place of death* to our mortuary partner and onto the crematorium, bathing, dressing and encasketing at the mortuary, a complimentary cardboard cremation casket, and filing of all paperwork, including the death certificate with Births, Deaths and Marriages.

*Note: this price is for the Gold Coast area. Out of area and out of hours fees may apply, but we will let you know upfront.

CREMATION + Service, from $6500 to $10,500

Want to add-on a bespoke Funeral Service or Memorial Event planned by one of our funeral planning experts? Our funeral packages include everything you get in the Essentials Cremation, ($2750) plus incur a $2500 professional service fee. From there you can add-on flowers, hearse, celebrant, and, if required a casket upgrade.
