At Rite of Passage Funerals, we’re all about choice and authenticity. This means tailoring our services so that you can choose what you need, and what you don’t. Our funeral and memorial services include transportation of your person from their place of death to our mortuary partner and onto their final resting place, a complimentary cardboard burial casket, dignified mortuary care, doctor’s certificates and filing of all death-related paperwork.
From there, your options are endless. We’ve partnered with stunning venues on the Gold Coast without strict time restraints, stylists, caterers, florists, celebrants, hearse drivers, live streamers, musicians, videographers and photographers so that we can create a truly unique end-of-life for your person.
What’s included
Transportation & mortuary care
We arrange collection of your person from their place of death and bring them into the care of our trusted (and excellent) mortuary partners on the Gold Coast. From there, we wash and dress your person, encasket them, and also arrange transportation to their final resting place.
Cremation (If required) & Casket
Our Funeral & Memorial packages includes a cremation at Eco Memorial Park on the Gold Coast, if required, or transportation to your burial ground of choice within those areas. It also includes a complimentary cardboard casket.
All necessary paperwork
Cause of Death Certificate, Life Extinct Form, Permission to Cremate, Official Death Certificate…. these are just a few of the required forms needed when a death takes place. We take care of them all on your behalf, ensuring every box is ticked and all processes are seamless.

FUNERAL SERVICEs
We don’t do cookie cutter funerals, instead we offer fully customisable, bespoke funeral services that really reflect the life being honoured.
Our Funeral Service packages include everything you get in the Essentials Cremation or Burial package, $2750 plus incur a $2500 professional service fee.
From there you can add-on venue. styling, catering, hearse, celebrant, and, if required an urn or casket of your choice. We work with vendors for every occasion, but if there’s anything you want to DIY, you absolutely can!
MEMORIAL SERVICEs
A Memorial Service often takes place after a cremation (or burial) so there is no casket present like there is at a Funeral Service. Instead, there is often an urn (in the event of cremation) in its place.
Our Memorial Service packages include everything you get in the Essentials Cremation or Burial package, $2750 plus incur a $2500 professional service fee.
